This one is long overdue but I’m still gonna post it anyway.
After 2 years, I finally get to see the people who helped me get through life’s toughest times. Although, they weren’t really the solution to my problems, they were one of the factors that lessened my worries and helped me get through the day with a smile. They were and still are, my ray of sunshine on a dark gloomy day.
If you still don’t know who I’m talking about, it’s EXO.
Yes kids, I’m referring to that kpop boy group with originally 12 freaking members that you thought were too much (I thought so too) who looked gay yet ridiculously beautiful to your eyes but nevertheless I love them.
[L-R] Members of Exo: Sehun, Baekhyun, Xiumin, Chen, Suho, D.O., Kai, and Chanyeol centers on stage to pose with PH EXO-Ls or recently known as “Phixos”. Lay, another member of EXO, was not able to attend the concert in Manila. (Photo Source: @vyril’s twitter account.)
…and I’m not posting this just because it’s a new year.
2016 is literally going to change the course of my life style, including everything that I’m used to doing and the culture that I grew up with.
As most of you have already heard, my family and I are moving to Boise, Idaho in USA (except for my elder sister because she’s working in Singapore right now). This means three things:
- I need to learn how to drive.
- I’d have to cancel all my slots for the next sem ’cause I’m not enrolling.
- I need to work on my English speaking skills.
Tomorrow, January 13, marks the so-called Hunger Games of my university, which may also technically refer to the enlistment, cancellation, and swapping of slots of different subjects of the students, be it major or minor subjects. We call it Hunger Games because basically, students race for the remaining units they need to acquire and weren’t given to them from the initial schedule, and subjects that they need to take for that certain semester. I don’t know about the other UP campuses but in UP Los Baños (UPLB) this happens every semester that is why it has become so popular among the crowd. But enough of that, let me get to the point.
